Tatts Finke Desert Race

The iconic Finke Desert Race is an off-road, multi-terrain, two-day race for bikes, cars, buggies, and quads through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community. The race is held annually on the King’s Birthday long weekend in June. Find out more here.
Alice Springs Beanie Festival

Originating in 1997 with a ‘beanie party’ this event has grown into a fun event where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists share their culture and exhibit together.
